"Sojourn explores the unfolding journey of life in motion, where paths cross, diverge, and intertwine. Within the chaos of change, moments of harmony emerge, revealing the threads that connect us. Through shared movement, the work reflects a search for unity, reminding us that even in uncertainty, we are never truly alone."

Destination Tri-Cities Film:

A collaborative project between Mid-Columbia Contemporary Dance and Visit Tri-Cities.

Mid-Columbia Contemporary Dance partnered with Visit Tri-Cities to produce this dance for film. Holly, the MCCD Artistic Director, worked with Karisa Sawyer, the Director of Marketing for Visit Tri-Cities to choose a theme, locations, and filming dates. MCCD held open auditions for dancers and accepted video auditions.

Holly Petty and Sam Norr collaborated on the choreography & music selection.

The film premiered at the Visit Tri-Cities 56th Annual Meeting & Tourism Showcase with keynote speaker Santino Fantana.
